Episode 156: Flipper (with guest host Xavier!)

This week we flip out over Flipper when we read the junior novelization of Elijah Wood and Paul Hogan vs a dolphin ripper classic Flipper! And joining me is my first mate Xavier, as we board the Clam Cracker and answer all the big questions like: are dolphins sexy? And: can you ethically eat them? This is one of the good ones, folks!

Episode 155: Lassie (1994) with guest host Emily!

This week we head back to the turbulent bandana-wearing nineties where a "heavy metal freak skateboarding cool dude" accidentally befriends some dumb dog in the novelization of 1994's Lassie. And joining me is guest host and former dog-owner Emily to check this thing for veracity. Listen to this or get stuck in a well!

Episode 154: The Black Hole (with guest host Courtney Coulson)!

This week we brave the novelization of Disney's 1979 not-so-successful Star Wars wannabe The Black Hole, written by Book Was Better favourite Alan Dean Foster! And piloting this episode for the first time is frequent guest and science enthusiast Courtney Coulson who actually read the book! We ask all the big questions about this forgotten non-classic like: "Doesn't that robot look like Cartman?"
