Episode 18: Armageddon!

Knock knock!
Who's there?
Armageddon who?
Armageddon out of here before they start talking about movie novelisations!

That's right, this episode tackles that patriotic classic, Armageddon. Listen as we delight in having all our terrible stereotypes about Americans confirmed (as well as some about Australians).

Hosts: Jessica McLeod and Luke Milton

  1. Hi its me McNally posting from America again.

I first have to ask do you understand how fireworks are use over here? Its traditional to shoot them at your friends head. Its not a holiday unless you have bald spots and a ringing in your ears.

But I wanted to say the tiny cheeseburgers that you fellows weren't sure the name of are in fact called sliders Lucas was right. He was also right that they slide in and out in roughly the same shape.

  2. As terrible as this movie is, it does provide an opportunity to learn some cool science (naturally, the opposite of everything Michael Bay did), thanks to the bad astronomy blog.

  3. Aah McNally... for such an astute listener you still don't know my name. I blame my thick Australian accent on your delicate American ears.

And thanks for the link (and the books... we'll be doing one soon), Mick! That could prove very helpful!
