You see, there are these books called novelizations. They're 'the book of the movie', those cheap, shoddy things you see sitting on op-shop shelves, unloved and abandoned. And for good reason! Most of the time, they turnout to be either unreadable or insane. Or both!
That's why Jessica McLeod and Luke Milton are reading them for you, and picking out the best bits. Get ready for hamfisted dialogue, clunky exposition, nonsensical metaphors and confusing action. Might I suggest the 1977 novelisation Star Wars by (ahem) George Lucas. Or is the prospect of another Alan Dean Foster experience too horrifying? I think you enjoy the patchiness of its style :)
